Giacomo Berardi

I am a backend developer and data scientist at SpazioDati, focusing on the news mining features behind Atoka, an innovative sales intelligence service. Moreover, I am working on the improvement of Dandelion API, a Text Analytics web service. I was previously a research fellow at the NeMIS laboratory of the ISTI-CNR. I obtained a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from the University of Pisa.

My topics of interest are around the area Text Mining, investigating and solving the problems that gravitate between Information Retrieval and Text Classification, looking at applications that optimally combine automatic analysis and human interaction. I am an enthusiastic follower of modern technologies for exploring the Web, from data collection to the mining of new knowledge.
